Program Overview

As per new rules of Dental Council of India, Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree is awarded at the successful completion of five academic years (4 years of study + 1 year of internship) of intense and certified study in dental care.

The objective of the course is to train and to educate students with every finer aspect of dental care with help of lectures, seminars and conferences by dedicated staff and faculty. The course is offered here at Govt. Dental College & Hospital, Jamnagar. The college is affiliated to Saurashtra University.

Eligibility

Applicants should have completed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The program follows NEET-UG based admission, with minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by the competent authorities.

Seat and Counselling Notes

  • 15% of seats are filled through All India Quota counselling by MCC.
  • The remaining seats are filled through the Gujarat state counselling process.
  • The institute follows government quota admission norms and does not operate management or NRI quota seats.
